  1. Why should I join INET?
    Join INET to meet and talk with other Family Physicians in Indiana who are interested in research. Use the membership to interact, brainstorm, and solve problems with your fellow physicians and Department of Family Medicine researchers. Receive a clinical appointment in the Department of Family Medicine and participate in free workshops and symposiums.

  4. As a member of INET, do I have to participate in every research study?
    No, you do not have to participate in every research study. We hope you participate in at least one per year, especially the upcoming patient and physician demographic study for the state of Indiana.


  5. What if I do not know much about research?
    You do not need to know about research. The Department of Family Medicine/Bowen Research Center has experienced senior researchers to help plan studies and collect data. Our staff is also available to analyze research data, conduct literature reviews, and assist you in manuscript development.


  6. Can I be an author on a paper submitted to a peer-reviewed journal?
    YES!
